Face of Caring – December 2021

December’s holiday season is rooted in compassion, which is what we are celebrating this month at Cassia. We’re excited to introduce you to Martha Yeanay for the Face of Caring campaign. Martha, who is celebrating ten years at Cassia’s Cornerstone Assisted Living.

Martha is not only a team player; she mentors all new staff. Above all, she cares for residents with integrity and compassion. “She readily helps other team members in different departments and can always be counted on to have a good attitude,” says Director of Health Services Molly McConville. “As a nurse, I always feel good knowing Martha is on the schedule. She is an excellent resource for staff and a steadfast advocate for those she cares for. A resident told me last week that she knew her shower was going to be great because Martha was her caregiver.”

What does Martha enjoy most about working at Cornerstone? “We work as a family and work together. That’s why whenever someone asks me to work, whatever shift it is, I am always happy to come in.”
